Graduated in Medicine at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (1988). Medical Residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (1993). Assistant Physician in the Pediatric Orthopedics group at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (1994), Master’s and Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. He is currently Full Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, Adjunct Professor of Orthopedics at the Federal University of Paraná, Consultant of the Pediatric Orthopedics Group at the Hospital Universitário Cajuru – PUCPR and at the Worker Hospital in Curitiba-PR, Faculty AO Pediatrics International – Switzerland and Editor of the International Program of AO Pediatrics – Switzerland (2018-2020). He currently serves as president of the Sociedad LatinoAmericana de Ortopedia y Traumatología Infantil (SLAOTI). He held the Presidency of the Brazilian Society of Pediatric Orthopedics (2015-2016).
