David Horn, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and staff surgeon in the division of Orthopedic Surgery at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Horn completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and returned to his home state of Ohio for medical school at the University of Toledo. He returned to New York City for residency at New York University and completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Shriners Hospital for Children in Los Angeles, CA. His clinical practice focuses on neuromuscular disease, pediatric foot and ankle, and limb deformity. He has also developed a special interest in pelvic osteotomies for treatment of bladder and cloacal exstrophy. Dr. Horn has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and chapters in his areas of interest and actively participates in pediatric orthopedic education both within the United States and abroad.
